Research Direction: natural pharmaceutical chemistry, research of natural reference standards and development of cosmetics efficacy.

In recent years, he has presided over 3 projects of the Science and Technology Department of Sichuan Province, two projects of the Education Department, and more than ten horizontal scientific research projects. He has completed the separation, purification and structural identification of over 1,000 compounds, among which there are more than 50 new structural compounds. He has also discovered several active compounds with analgesic, anti-tumor, antibacterial and antioxidant properties. 

So far, more than 100 academic papers have been published; nearly 30 of them have been included in the Science Citation Index (SCI);

There are over 20 national invention patents.
